There are two independent ways that can be used to determine the time between each of the shots that were fired at President Kennedy's limousine. By showing that both forms of evidence have the same timing between shots, the answers needed to solve this mystery quickly emerge. But first, several errors must be identified and common sense corrections have to be made. If previously published information is blindly used as has been done by others, then incorrect answers will emerge.
Zapruder filmed the assassination from before the first shot until after the last shot was fired. There are clearly two movements made in the film that have been identified as having been caused by shots. The first was immediately after the limousine emerges from behind a sign and the second shot that is easily identified hit President Kennedy.in the head.
But there is a third very rapid movement that has never previously been identified as having been caused by a shot. The first bombshell in the book is that the timing between the last two shots match exactly in both forms of evidence and one of those two shots hit Texas Governor John Connally in the back. Starting with the last two shots, the timing of the last three shots can be shown to match within 0.1 seconds of each other in both the Zapruder film and the acoustical evidence. Those matches prove that a conspiracy killed President Kennedy.

Dishonesty

The assassination of John F. Kennedy is undoubtedly one of the the most studied moments in the annals of American history.
Emanating from this horrific event, thousands of books have been published addressing the who-done-it and how-they-did it aspects of this historic crime.
Over the past 50 years we've seen a wide range of perspectives and opinions about the masterminds and mechanics behind the assassination.
When we observe the happenings in Dallas in 1963, its interesting that so many different and conflicting conspiracy theories emerge even though we're watching the same event.
Nearly 50 years later, a new and completely different theory about the shots fired at the motorcade on Elm Street have surfaced in the work titled "0.7 Seconds To Conspiracy."
Being a student of the Kennedy assassination for most of my adult life, my opinion has evolved about "who-done-it." For a great many years I was a committed pro conspiracy person, but began to slowly move away from that position to one where Lee Harvey Oswald is the sole assassin.
The reasons behind my metamorphosis would be too numerous and boring to articulate here. But a small portion of me still harbors the belief of a possible conspiracy being the catalyst behind the death of JFK.
Upon the discovery of this work, I was immediately intrigued by the title and sought to learn more about the foundation of the authors' position.
From my experience as a student of the assassination and having an open mind about the discovery of new evidence, I've read a wide spectrum of pro-conspiracy material that range from the possible to the absurd.
In my opinion "0.7 Seconds To Conspiracy" stands as a work that no other pro conspiracy manuscript has every achieved.
This is the most blatantly dishonest and fraudulent work masquerading as "truth" I've ever had the misfortune of reading.
The author uses as the foundation and cornerstone of his thesis the Abraham Zapruder film and the alleged recording of shots made by a Dallas Police Department Dict-a-belt. He claims these two independent pieces of evidence prove John Connolly and John Kennedy were shot by two different gunmen.
This sounds interesting on paper. In the real world the foundation of his argument rapidly crumbles.
The Dallas Dict-a-belt recording was examined by acoustic experts for the United States House Select Committee on Assassinations (HSCA) in 1979.
They reported the Dict-a-belt had recorded four shots fired at the JFK motorcade with one of the shots coming from the Grassy Knoll.
Admittedly, the acoustic experts made a number of assumptions to arrive at their conclusion.
They claimed for the acoustics to be valid, the motorcycle of HB McLain, the presumed police office with the microphone stuck in the "on" position, had to be turning from Houston Street on to Elm Street.
But, after examining the footage of the films taken in Dealey Plaza of the motorcade and locating McLain in the films at the time of the shots, he was turning off Main Street on to Houston.
He was 170 feet away from where the acoustic experts said he had to be.
The National Academy of Sciences conducted their own examination of the recording. They concluded the recording was made miles away at the Dallas Trade Mart and done so 90 seconds after the shots were fired.
These two independent pieces of evidence negate the legitimacy of the HSCA acoustic report and makes the authors' argument invalid.
There's even more nonsense in "0.7 Seconds".
The author states Connally was shot by a different gunman yet this argument falls to pieces for the following reasons;
The entry wound to Connally's back was oblong indicting he was struck by a tumbling bullet. The author does not account for this.
The entry, exit, wrist and leg wounds of John Connally don't remotely match to his position in the limousine when the author says he was struck.
The author fails to identify the location of the second gunman.
The author has not a single shred of scientifically measurable evidence to support this blatantly dishonest theory.
Instead, he relies on what some people heard regarding the speed of the final two shots and deliberately ignores the vast majority of witnesses who heard three spaced-apart shots.
A word of caution to the serious researcher; save your money and save your time. "0.7 Seconds" is a parasitic infection.
Undoubtedly, there will be some who'll praise this work as new, revealing and its praises will sung.
But, "what else do you expect from a pig but a grunt?"
UPDATE: The PBS program "NOVA:Cold Case JFK" that was broadcast in 2013 explains and demonstrates scientifically how the Single Bullet and the head shot to JFK are legitimate and likely happened.
It also clearly and convincingly destroys the utter absurdity of "0.7 Seconds to Conspiracy" and exposes its total dishonesty.
If you hold your time and finances in low regard, then waste them both on "0.7 Seconds"

This is yet another attempt by the conspiracy obsessed to hoodwink the American public into believing that President Kennedy was assassinated as the result of a conspiracy. The main problem with this book is that it is based on the false premise that the acoustic evidence is genuine.
It was proven many years ago that the dictabelt recording by the Dallas Police did not record the shots in Dealey Plaza. Despite the authors insistance, this recording was made a minute or more after the shooting took place and from a stuck open microphone on a Dallas Police motorcycle located at the Dallas Trademart. Also John Connally himself told his version of what happened that day in Dallas many times over the years prior to his death. Not once did he ever state that he was struck by a shot at, or near the time of the fatal head shot to President Kennedy. Connally's recolections and testamony about the shooting are very clear and this book offers no medical, forensic or ballistic evidence to support the authors outlandish claim. I'd file this book under fantasy !!!
