The first - The hero's mother is a royal virgin - the last - has one or more holy sepulchres. Must read literature for the mythologist and interesting to check how your particular hero matches up with the standards! Rank has his own list of 16 things, so if you can't make the big list, try the little one . . .

Best introduction to Classical perspectives of the hero myth

Robert A. Segal is very likely the best Classical theorist of the hero myth. In his book, In Quest of the Hero, he offers an excellent essay on the key theorists of the hero myth. This essay alone is worth the cost of the book.

This book offers the key works of Raglan and Rank. He also offers other key works on the hero myth.

Of note, Segal offers the controversial essay by Dundes on the hero myth and Jesus Christ. It would be interesting to get feed back from our Christian collegues on this one.

If you are a Christian and have any interest in the hero myth, Dundes essay is a must. I would hope that readers would begin to see the application of mythology and christianity.

If you are good to the game, the game will be good to you.

I have been a firm believer in Tariq Nasheed's methods for a few years now. After getting used by a woman I was searching for someone to guide me and teach me how to prevent this from ever happening again. I was upset and pissed off. Out of no where comes [...]. I then went to my book store and bought "The Mack Within". In about 3 months I had a friends (hot) wife trying to get me and her friend into the bedroom for a threesome! I was sold. I then purchased "Play or be played" This was supposed to be a book for women, but I found the psychological profile of women to be very helpful and informative...A book worth getting. Now if a 300 pound plus white guy can pull top grade women anyone can benefit from Tariq. I have women buyin me drinks when I go out, i get complimented on my appearance when i go out, I even have passed the knowledge onto my friends who have seen results. As far as the "Art of Mackin" it is the foundation for all of the other game tariq has given us. You need fundamentals to start with. This isn't your dads pull out chairs and open doors...This is your dad's book if he was a playa! this book tells you in detail how to pick up women at clubs, how to get them out of the club, back to your place and how to over come objections they may have about having sex with you. It even gives you a sexual technique or two. This is something i wished I had had in highschool. In conclusion if you are sick of women walking on you and you want them to chase you and compliment you....you need Tariq Nasheed

The Art of Mackin'!!

This is not the first book by "King Flex" that I have purchased or read. This book is not about learning the tools of the dating trade nor does it advocate lying, cheating, or pimping. In fact, Flex clears up some of the most common misconceptions about what pimping actually is and advocates honesty as the best policy in a committed relationship between a man and a woman. He explains, being a True Mack is about being honest with yourself and your companions; finding out what you really want, and connecting with quality women who can provide those things for you. Rather than talk about how to play mind games with women, he explains how to identify the mind games that women are trying to play on you, how to cut through the garbage and find happiness with the people who will help you find it instead of pursuing it with the people who won't. It's the little things you do that separate Macks from everyday square brothers.

This book is funny in many parts (such as when Flex talks about the different types of women like the "Liquor Pimp" who hangs out at the bar and tries to get "Tricks" to purchase drinks for her) some parts are very serious (such as what to do when dealing with rebellious or "sassy" women) but most of it is just good street smarts & common sense that anyone in the game should know.

The book is worth every penny. Thanks to Tariq, you can actually take a look at what you are doing, how you are stepping to these women and how to tighten your game and make it better. Even if you are a man with no problems getting a woman, there is always a much smoother and easier way to do it. This book should be in every real man's library; whether you are a "Nice Guy" who is tired of finishing last or a "Captain Save -a- Hoe" who is tired of tricking off money and paying bills. I suggest you pick up this book so that you can brush up your game and make it easier on yourself overall. Take yourself out the trick bag! Flex does men a huge favor by breaking things down on how to protect yourself from some of the female predators that exist in today's society.

I thought that this book was phenomenal. I've read his first book time and again but since he's come out with the 10 year anniversary book, I'm reading it mainly to fine tune my game for the 2009 era. "The Art of Macking" allows the reader to have the confidence to spit game straight from the "Survivor Scrolls" so that instead of a guy shooting in the dark and looking desperate, he will know exactly which angle to approach women from.

Take it, study it and use it. Remember, the key word here is confidence and no matter what your Mack status is, this book will definitely help you out. Even if you are already with that special someone, it will still teach you how to deal with her properly. I hope this helps. YMMV.... NEOSOUL

In addition to completely revising the sections on computers and telecommunications, this third edition integrates computers, the Internet, and other office technologies into every aspect of the basic office procedures that are essential to success in the business world. Each chapter contains information, exercises, and activities which direct the student to use the Internet for information and research. Special emphasis was given to the development of positive human relations skills. Well, it made for some interesting (to put it mildly) discussions on how to handle work situations (i.e. 2 fellow employees do not like you & you don't know why; what to do & not do in certain work situations). What was the point of the English punctuation lessons at the ends of the chapters? This is "Professional Office Procedures & Ethics," not "Business English" or "English 101!"

This is a moderately priced textbook for an introductory class. It is organized well, has extensive review material, and has a CD with additional resources available. If you can get the chapter assignments and text online, I would do so. This is a very basic text and most of the questions can be answered with knowledge you already have or can quickly be answered using Google.
